Birch panels are colored using Minwax Wood Finish oil-based stains. A series of lines, derived from floor plans for available apartments in the Bushwick luxury apartment building 1209 Dekalb (formerly known as Colony 1209), are imprinted on the panels using silicone caulk. The panels are then installed and photographed at various construction sites in the area surrounding 1209 Dekalb.
